Apply today and take the first step to Destination: Progress.As a lead data analyst on the Personal Lines Control Risk Management team, you'll gather and leverage data across multiple platforms. In this role, youll work closely with other teams in the business including the Claims, Actuarial, Research and Development, and Corporate Finance teams, product managers, and reinsurance brokers to support our property reinsurance placements by providing premium and loss data to our brokers and reinsurers during the reinsurance submission process and monthly loss reporting. Additionally, youll provide solutions to complex business questions and oversee ad-hoc analysis and evaluations for loss cost analysis and modeled reinsurance costs.Remote work allowed.Must-have Qualifications
  • A minimum of eight years of analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of seven years of analytical work experience.
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of five years analytical work experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Expertise in reinsurance pricing, trend analysis, portfolio-based pricing, and/or catastrophe modeling
  • Three or more years of reinsurance-related experience
  • Ability to review and interpret proportional and non-proportional ceded reinsurance contracts
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and/or Python, including the ability to create complex queries against data sources
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office with demonstrated skills in Excel - including the ability to create, manipulate, and formulate spreadsheets - including v-lookup, tables, VBA, macros, charts, and graphing
Compensation
  • $95,800 - $127,700/year
  • Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
